Ryan Coogler will produce Space Jam 2, 18 years after it's original release

Ryan Coogler the director of the record breaking Black Panther will produce the sequel to the 1996 hit Space Jam. Coogler has teamed up with LeBron James, who is set to star in the film led by SpringHill Entertainment.

Terence Nance is currently penned to direct Space Jam 2 , with a release set for the NBA season next year. Nance is behind HBO’s Random Acts of Flyness and is the director of The Oversimplification of Her Beauty.
